Nordic Health Innovation: From realisation to business

A virtual life science event with thought-provoking presentations, unexpected angles, future trends and pioneering ideas.

The Nordic region is scoring high on international innovation rankings year after year. But is there a Nordic way of creating innovation? And what is required to take ideas from the Eureka moment all the way to truly value-adding solutions with paying customers?

At Park Annual 2021 we will explore the innovation journey from realisation to business. We are joined by scientists, startups, industry leaders and innovation experts to shed light on the holy grail of successful health innovation.

Programme sessions with presentations, panel discussions and deep dives:

  • The Nordic way: myths, facts and culture
  • The necessary prerequisites: How data deepens the human perspective
  • The investor perspective: Strongholds, qualities and future for Nordic Life Science
  • Joining forces: The art of cluster collaboration

20 speakers from the Nordics, UK and USA as well as an interactive exhibition with chat and mingle.

Sharing knowledge and perspectives have never been more important. Meet leading scientists, innovation experts and exciting startups ready to pitch their idea!

We’re excited to meet you all on the Park Annual interactive platform allowing chat, one-to-one meetings and an inspiring exhibition.

The Arvid Carlsson Award by Sahlgrenska Science Park will be awarded to an entrepreneur who drives development forward for human health and wellbeing. This is the 5th consecutive year we award a prize in the name of the Nobel Prize winner Arvid Carlsson, a true entrepreneur, active in Sahlgrenska Science Park’s community for many years.

On the day attendance is highly recommended for a full experience but most of the sessions will be available on demand afterwards, however you need to register in both cases.

10.00 am – 15.00 pm (CET)

Park Annual is a virtual event and is free of charge.
