Corti Receives $27M to Expand AI-Powered Patient Consultations Platform

Corti.ai, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based AI-powered patient consultations platform today announced it has raised $27M in Series A funding led by Vaekstfonden, the Danish Growth Fund and Chr. Augustinus Fabrik, who joins existing investors Hearcore, Id Invest, and byFounders.

– Founded by  Lars Maaløe and Andreas Cleve in 2016, Corti provides an augmentative AI platform that uses speech recognition technology to analyze patient consultations in real time and then provides insights, cues and recommendations to the provider about next steps based on best practice protocols from the healthcare system. As the consultation progresses, Corti’s artificial intelligence is listening in to write notes, search databases, and compare symptom descriptions with millions of historical cases to ensure each patient gets the optimal treatment. The company is among the global leaders in applied artificial intelligence and has been recognized with several awards.

– With this round of funding, Corti will expand its U.S. presence into primary care, including supporting nurse advice lines, telemedicine visits and clinical call centers.This is part of an effort to reduce healthcare spending by ensuring the right care is given at the right time for patients, well as supporting faster documentation processes.
