Walgreens and optical chain For Eyes have unveiled a co-branded website, For Eyes at Walgreens, which offers eyeglass frames from various brands as well as in-house lines that seek to merge quality with affordable pricing. The companies are providing an introductory discount of 40% off lenses with a purchase of any frame. Giovanni Monti, senior vice president for health care services at Walgreens Boots Alliance, said: “Collaborating with For Eyes to offer prescription eyeglasses online allows Walgreens to deliver upon our company’s goal to be a one-stop destination for health care through a seamless, integrated customer experience in-store and digitally. For Eyes shares our dedication to providing high quality and affordable vision care in the communities we serve.” The new website builds on an existing partnership between Walgreens and For Eyes, which partnered in November 2019 to create 10 optical service centers in the Chicago metro area. For Eyes currently has more than 100 locations across 11 states and Puerto Rico.
