FirstLight Home Care, Caring Senior Service Veteran Jeff Bevis Named CEO Of Concierge Home Care

Jeff Bevis – who co-founded FirstLight Home Care – has been named the next CEO of Concierge Home Care, a home-based care company backed by Waud Capital.

After Bevis co-founded FirstLight Home Care, he led the company for over a decade. In 2020, after he and FirstLight parted ways, he eventually became the COO of the San Antonio-based home care franchise Caring Senior Service.

“I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Executive Officer at Concierge Care!” Bevis wrote in a LinkedIn post Saturday.

On its end, the Jacksonville, Florida-based Concierge Home Care is a provider of a wide variety of home-based care services, including traditional home care and home health care. It has at least 25 locations spanning across the state of Florida.

The company’s former CEO was Chris Rucker, who began his time as CEO of the company when Waud Capital initially made its investment, in September of 2019.

Waud Capital recently acquired the large home care franchise Senior Helpers. Outside of Concierge Home Care and Senior Helpers, the private equity company also has investments in companies such as: the home infusion providers PromptCare and CarePoint Partners; the physical therapy platform Ivy Rehab; Regency Hospital Company; and DS Medical, a home medical supplies company.

Concierge Home Care and Senior Helpers have already entered into a strategic partnership in Florida.
“While this is not exclusive, we believe that this new partnership will benefit both companies moving forward,” Senior Helpers CEO Peter Ross told Home Health Care News earlier this month.
