Foresight projects: EU-OSHA anticipates emerging risks and future OSH challenges

EU-OSHA’s foresight projects anticipate technological, environmental, societal, political, and economic changes that could lead to new occupational safety and health (OSH) challenges, with the aim of preventing future risks and ensuring safe and healthy workplaces. 

As green and digital transitions increase their pace, so does the need to create a long-term strategic approach and innovative solutions to potential workplace safety dilemmas. 

EU-OSHA’s foresight projects on emerging risks have identified key topics that demand further action to get ahead of the challenges: ICT/Digitalisation, Circular economy, Green jobs, Nanomaterials and — soon to come — Climate change.
