HWC 2023-2025: First Good Practice Exchange Meeting in Portugal

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) and Official Campaign Partner (OCP) ZF Friedrichshafen AG are hosting the first Good Practice Exchange meeting in Ponte de Lima, Portugal on 21-22 May 2024.

The event’s programme includes a tour across the ZF’s onsite plant to highlight occupational and safety (OSH) and aspects related to our ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ campaign, including robotics and
(AI) AI refers to systems that display intelligent behaviour by analysing their environment and taking actions – with some degree of autonomy – to achieve specific goals. AI-based systems can be purely software-based, acting in the virtual world (e.g. voice assistants, image analysis software, search engines, speech and face recognition systems) or AI can be embedded in hardware devices (e.g. advanced robots, autonomous cars, drones or Internet of things applications).
(AI). The Portuguese Focal Point will also present its activities, and some OSH good practices will be shared by official campaign partners. 

OCP and steering group member from ZF, Regine Mägerlein, will also intervene, and EU-OSHA’s representatives will moderate a session to discuss the preparations for the upcoming Good Practices Exchange meetings this year.
