Win-win: partners help EU-OSHA drive a safe and healthy digital work

Over 90 organisations have teamed up with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) and its 2023-25 Healthy Workplaces Campaign (HWC) to ensure that humans are put at the centre of workplace digitalisation. By joining ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ as official campaign partners, they play an essential role in the success of the campaign while enjoying multiple advantages and opportunities.

Our partners are a driving force behind the success of the Healthy Workplaces Campaign. Their expertise and commitment to ensure workers’ wellbeing and business competitiveness amplify the message, and their great diversity ensures that it reaches most sectors and countries across Europe. With the trust of both EU-OSHA and their networks, they set a leading example for safety and health at work in the digital age.

William Cockburn
EU-OSHA Executive Director

EU-OSHA welcomes the official campaign partners (OCPs) — organisations from a variety of sectors across Europe including companies and associations from both the public and private domains. While many of them have returned to reaffirm their dedication to promoting occupational safety and health (OSH) in Europe, numerous new ones have also decided to join. All of them inspire and encourage others to successfully manage a safe and healthy workforce in an increasingly digitalised world.

As campaign partners, they actively participate by engaging in direct discussions with workers, organising and participating in workshops, field visits and film screenings, creating innovative ways for spreading awareness through new formats such as stories or podcasts, as well as collaborating with other partners.

The 2020-22 campaign on musculoskeletal disorders saw official campaign partners engage in 393 activities and implement almost 1000 awareness-raising actions. Similar figures are expected from this campaign, starting with two ‘Good Practice Exchange’ events taking place in 2024 organised by OCPs Boehringer Ingelheim in Germany and ZF in Portugal for their peers. These activities offer them the opportunity to cooperate, share OSH good practices and discuss strategic and policy approaches to tackle OSH concerns.

In return for their commitment, partners enjoy heightened visibility, exclusive access to campaign tools and materials, networking opportunities and participation in events and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The campaign will also be supported by EU-OSHA’s valuable network of focal pointsEEN OSH ambassadors and media partners, ready to amplify campaign messages and raise awareness through their diverse channels.

About the Healthy Workplaces Campaigns

About the Healthy Workplaces Campaigns

The Healthy Workplaces Campaigns are at the heart of EU-OSHA’s mission towards safer and healthier workplaces across Europe. They are one of the agency’s flagship awareness-raising activity, delivering a central message: Safety and health at work is everyone’s concern. It’s good for you. It’s good for business. Running since 2000, the campaigns have now become the largest of their kind in the world. A wealth of information and resources in the form of practical guides and tools are made available to any organisation or company looking at improving safety and health in their workplaces. The campaigns feature key milestones, including the Good Practice Awards and the Healthy Workplaces Film Award recognising and celebrating exceptional contributions in promoting OSH, as well as the European Weeks for Safety and Health at Work, taking place each October.

Previous editions focused on preventing and managing work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), managing dangerous substances and promoting healthy workplaces for all ages.
