Albertsons to offer COVID-19 vaccines as part of federal pharmacy partnership

Albertsons is among the companies that are part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Partnership Program for COVID-19 Vaccination. The company has been named an early start partner in Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington, where its pharmacies will receive direct allocations of the vaccine from the federal government starting next week. Albertsons says it has already administered more than a quarter of a million doses of COVID-19 vaccines via partnerships with individual states across its more than 1,700 pharmacies. According to the company, the additional supply from the government would be administered on an appoint-only basis to eligible patients.
