Shots:
- The companies collaborated to develop a custom version of AnemoCheck Mobile to measure Hgb levels in patients with anemia of CKD
- AnemoCheck app can measure Hgb levels using a single photo of a user’s fingernail applying an algorithm based on the pallor of a patient’s nailbed without the need to draw blood and allow the patients to measure at home or in a remote setting
- The study in collaboration with AstraZeneca and NephroNet will test the custom algorithms in patients by comparing app results against CBC Hgb levels. The results from the AnemoCheck study is expected in Q3’21
