Cisco’s OpenRoaming Rollout Enables Quick, Secure Wi-Fi Access at Adventist Health

Hospital staff, traveling nurses, patients and visitors in rural areas must be able to connect seamlessly and securely to a hospital’s Wi-Fi network — a need that recently led Adventist Health and Cisco to roll out the Wireless Broadband Alliance OpenRoaming service. It allows Wi-Fi access without requiring login credentials.
After a successful initial deployment at four Adventist Health hospital campuses, OpenRoaming with Cisco’s DNA Spaces and Cisco Catalyst 9000 series switches will soon be implemented across all 24 of the health system’s campuses.
