Elara Caring has named Brent Nash as its chief development officer, a new executive role.

Nash will be in charge of maximizing the company’s growth strategy.

The Dallas-based Elara Caring is a home-based care provider with about 200 locations across 17 states. The company employs personal care aides, nurses, behavioral health specialists, physical therapists and hospice nurses, among other types of health care professionals.

Before joining Elara Caring, Nash served as VP of development at Lifepoint Health, a health care delivery organization.

Elara Caring has made promising strides in several areas of its business of late. The provider set an internal record by increasing caregiver staffing by 21% in the second quarter of 2023. It also reduced the time to hire from 22 days to nine.

Care Advantage names new SVP of operations

Care Advantage has named Mike Bonanno as its new senior vice president of operations, according to a LinkedIn post.

The Richmond, Virginia-based Care Advantage is a home-based care company that has 51 locations throughout Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., and North Carolina. The company offers both personal care and home health care services.

DispatchHealth appoints new president

DispatchHealth has named Jennifer Webster as its new president.

“Jennifer will play a pivotal role in shaping DispatchHealth’s next chapter,” Mark Prather, co-founder and CEO of DispatchHealth, said in a statement. “Her proven track record, leadership skills, and dedication to our mission make her the ideal choice to lead our operations and drive our growth within the value-based care landscape.”

Denver-based DispatchHealth operates in over 30 states, providing urgent care and other higher-acuity services in the home.

Before joining Dispatch, Webster spent 17 years at McKesson Corporation, where she held leadership roles in finance. Most recently, she served as the CEO of The Center for Autism and Related Disorders.

Home Care Pulse welcomes new CFO, CRO

Idaho-based research and education firm Home Care Pulse (HCP) has appointed two people to its leadership team: Asghar Husain as chief financial officer and Louie Frank as chief revenue officer.

“We are thrilled to welcome Asghar and Louie to our leadership team,” Home Care Pulse CEO Bud Meadows said in a statement. “These two seasoned leaders’ values align seamlessly with HCP’s mission and we are confident in their ability to drive our continued success.”

Before joining HCP, Asghar was the CFO for e-Telequote Insurance. Frank held senior sales and marketing roles at the software company Vanco and at the IT consulting company Ability Network.

This year already, HCP acquired Activated Insights and Pinnacle Quality Insight.

Care.com expands executive team

The Austin, Texas-based Care.com has made a number of additions to its executive team.

John Buchanan has been named chief marketing officer, Elizabeth Sartin has been named chief product officer and Naaz Nichols has been named chief customer experience officer.

Care.com is one of the largest online platforms for finding and managing family care, including in-home care.

Buchanan previously served as the CMO at LegalZoom and SVP of marketing strategy, technology and sciences for the NFL. Sartin comes from Pinterest, where she was the head of shopping product. Nichols comes from HBO Max, where she served as the SVP of retention and editorial.
