Description

The use of digital technologies and complex mass data (big data) are increasingly determining our work processes. This is also accompanied by new and changed requirements for the activities of supervisory staff and labour inspectors.

On 25 November, the German focal point is holding a workshop to discuss how occupational safety and health inspections could be more tailored or even more effective using digital technical solutions. Speakers discuss the planning, realisation and postprocessing of labour inspections and EU-OSHA’s Senior Project Manager, Dietmar Elsler, presents the perspectives and activities of EU-OSHA in relation to innovative inspections.

The event takes place at the GLS campus in Berlin with decision makers and strategic acting and thinking OSH experts at the institutional level in Germany and other EU Member States.

Speakers:

  • Dietmar Elsler, Senior Project Manager at EU-OSHA
  • Andreas Schmid, Innovation department for Austrian labour inspectorates
  • Erich Bauer, Innovation department for Austrian labour inspectorates
  • Leonard Salm, LIA NW
  • Robert Ekle and Geir Ivar Andreassen, Norwegian labour Inspection Authority
