Description

A positive work environment is a vital part of occupational safety and health (OSH). Psychosocial factors such as the way work is designed, organised and managed can influence the health and wellbeing of workers and could cause increased stress and a deterioration of mental and physical well-being.

The Administration Occupational Safety and Health, in collaboration with the Icelandic Society of Occupational Safety and Health (VINNÍS), has organised a meeting to cover issues such as workplace culture and the challenges of working in a project-driven labour market.

The meeting on 28 April runs from 8.30-10.30 and is accessible live online. It is useful for all OSH professionals, particularly those who are interested in how psychosocial factors can affect well-being at work.
