Join World Arthritis Day to help lighten the load for workers with RMDs

Observed every year on 12 October, the World Arthritis Day calls for better understanding and awareness of the impact of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs).
The global campaign is led by EULAR, an EU-OSHA partner of the Healthy Workplaces Campaign Lighten the Load. This year, EULAR brings the focus on worrying ‘pain points’ such as the difficulty of getting professional rheumatological treatment quickly in Europe.
With RMDs affecting more than 120 million people in the EU, the need for employers to retain workers is growing and health, social and employment services must support that process.
