National Seminar on the costs and benefits of OSH
Event Details
Description
What are the economic impacts of both good and poor OSH management? This is the focus of EU-OSHA’s ‘Costs and benefits of occupational safety and health’ project, which aims to develop an economic costing model to establish reliable estimates of the costs.
To present the project at national level, the Romanian focal point is hosting an online seminar on 16 November where EU-OSHA’s Senior Project Manager, Dietmar Elsler, presents the background and goals of the project. Romanian experts then provide an overview of the topic at national level, including statistics, rehabilitation measures and related costs, prevention policies, and more.
Taking place online, the seminar concludes with a question-and-answer session with OSH experts, company managers, occupational physicians, representatives of national authorities and other participants.
