Workers in the information and communication sector face multiple risks such as working with chemicals, ergonomic risks such as moving of heavy loads and much more. They are also facing plenty of psychosocial risks due, for instance, to tight deadlines and high work pressure.
The good news is that carrying out risk assessments to prevent accidents and ill-health in the journalism, printing and telecommunication sector is easy thanks to Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools.
Our partners have designed four tools for this industry in Bulgaria, Finland, Latvia and Slovenia and two additional ones are being prepared.
