Publix Pharmacy begins filling pet prescriptions

Publix Pharmacy is now filling prescriptions for pet medications in Florida. Available medication categories for pets include allergies, heart failure, antibiotics, arthritis and anti-inflammatory, bronchitis, endocrine, ear, heartworms, motion sickness, dry eye, flea and tick, and seizures. Pet medications are not covered by insurance, and those ordered from Sunday to Friday will be available for next day pickup. Prescriptions that do not require refrigeration will also be available for home delivery within a five-mile radius of each in-store Florida Publix Pharmacy for a $5 fee.
