You may think you don’t need health insurance, that it’s too expensive, or not worth the trouble. While nobody plans to get sick or hurt, bad things happen, even to healthy people. The good news is that enrolling in a 2020 Marketplace health plan may be more affordable and easier than you think. You have until December 15, 2019 to sign up. Coverage starts January 1, 2020.
You may be eligible for savings
- With one application, we’ll tell you if you qualify for savings that can make Marketplace insurance less expensive, or free or low-cost health coverage through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
- If you’re not quite ready to apply, you can get a quick idea if you’ll save based on your household size, state, and 2020 income estimate.
Applying can be fast & simple
- If you’re single or have a pretty straightforward family situation, applying and finding out what savings you qualify for won’t take much time at all.
- Help is also available. See the different ways to get enrollment assistance.
