Risk-free workplaces for healthy farmers start with OiRA

Agriculture is among the most dangerous job sectors in Europe. Farmers are exposed to a wide range of risks such as accidents involving machinery and livestock, handling of pesticides and other chemicals, vibration and noise, exposition to a wide variety of weather conditions and working at height.

Twelve Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools have been created to evaluate the risks in this sector, and three more for Dutch-speaking and French-speaking Belgium and Greece are under development.
