Amazon offers to help Biden administration with COVID vaccine distribution

Online retail giant Amazon has reached out to President Joe Biden, telling him that it is willing and able to help achieve his goal of vaccinating 100 million Americans during the first 100 days of his administration. “Our scale allows us to make a meaningful impact immediately in the fight against COVID-19, and we stand ready to assist you in this effort,” Amazon Worldwide Consumer CEO Dave Clark wrote in a January 20 letter to the new commander-in-chief. He also called for Amazon staff, many of whom are designated as essential workers, to be immunized as soon as possible.
