Call for participants – New study on work disability post-traumatic stress injuries

The prevalence of post-traumatic stress injuries (PTSIs) among first responder professionals is high and often leads to work disability. However, the scientific evidence about the effectiveness of PTSI interventions is still limited.

The Canadian Institute of Work and Health (IWH) is gathering field knowledge about policies, programs, and practices related to PTSIs implemented in firefighter, paramedic, and police organizations. IWH’s research team is now recruiting participants from first responder services and associations — especially from outside Canada.
