CVS pharmacy stores in six more states are set to begin offering COVID-19 vaccines through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program. The new states are Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. This follows the successful February 12 rollout of vaccinations via the federal partnership in 11 states. Appointments for the latest allocation of approximately 570,000 doses in the additional states will start to become available for booking this week, with vaccinations beginning February 25. “Feedback on every aspect of the vaccination process has been incredibly positive, from the digital experience to interacting with our team of health care professionals,” said Karen Lynch, president and CEO, CVS Health. “We’re also making significant progress in reaching vulnerable communities, which will continue to be an essential part of our vaccination effort.”
