Vaccine “super clinics” at Price Chopper pharmacies created by partnership

Thanks to a partnership with New York health insurer CDPHP, a Price Chopper-Market 32 pharmacy in Clifton Park, NY, has been able to expand its reach in providing COVID-19 vaccinations. The pharmacy provides the clinics, vaccines, and pharmacists, while CDPHP reaches out to members and helps with scheduling or transportation, as needed. “Members have been very appreciative, especially when we’re following up on a call, and they have called in for assistance,” said Jennifer Montano, CDPHP’s manager of Community Pharmacy. “People are so excited to get vaccinated,” said Kim DeMagistris, Price Chopper Market 32 Pharmacy Clinical Manager. “They feel a little lucky that they were able to find an appointment and especially an appointment right here in their community where they don’t have to travel.”
