Video: Improving efficiency across quality improvement teams

With the June 15 submission deadline just over a month away, health plan quality departments are in the thick of the HEDIS® Measurement Year (MY) 2020 audits and submissions. But soon, they’ll need to carve out time to prepare for the offseason and MY 2021.

To best accomplish this, plans should account for the unique needs of each member of their quality improvement team and budget training time for each accordingly. For example, the quality improvement director needs access to rapid executive insights into the team’s performance against its project plan, while reporting analysts need to be able to quickly export measure details and create ad hoc reports.
